He received his Masters degree from UCLA. He has over 10 years of experience in the field of architecture and urban planning. His primary focus is on programming, planning and design of Living and scalable learning environments for students. He has managed and budgeted for projects as large as $200M and 2000 beds and managed teams of up to 16 people. Jose is a member of the Board of Directors for the Phoenix Boys Choir and actively participates in fundraising events for their training program. He also participates as an adjunct teaching staff at the College of Architecture at the Arizona State University. Jose has a passion for detail that is exhibited in his work and his work ethic. Understanding how materials go together and how systems are organized and coordinated is one of the keys to success of any project and Jose brings this expertise to SUBSTANCE design consortium.
