[thinker; writer; maker; designer; musician; coordinator and innovator] a Partner of SUBSTANCE design consortium, is a graduate from the College of Architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology and studied architecture at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris, France. She has over 19 years of experience in the field of architecture and urban planning. She has worked with internationally acclaimed architects in various capacities from employment to teaming relationships for pursuing projects, including but not exclusively, Peter Eisenman of Eisenman Architects; Liz Diller of Diller Scofidio Renfro; Rem Koolhaas of OMA and Will Bruder of William Bruder + Partners. Her primary focus is on museum and performing and visual arts center design programming and planning. She has managed and budgeted projects as large as $300M, and 700,000 SF and managed teams of up to 25 people. Donna is a member of the Board of Directors for Gnosis, a not-for-profit organization that seeks to preserve and present the significant creative contributions of individuals that have changed our world. She has participated in lectures about the work, taught design studios and participated in several final juries around the country. Formerly one of three Principals at the Phoenix office of Gould Evans, Donna also participated in the management of a 45 person architectural firm. Donna has published several articles about the work in various publications including 'Connect the Dots: the dimensions of a Wire Frame' in Eleven Authors in Search of a Building, Monacelli Press, on the design process for the Aronoff Center for Design and Art in Cincinnati, and "Go With the Flow" published in Auditoria Magazine - a critique of the Stevie Eller Dance Theater.
